Racecar Engineering are on the hunt for a motivated and enthusiastic Deputy Editor to help deliver the worlds leading monthly technology publication for motorsport engineering.
Working in collaboration with the Editor, the Deputy Editor will be responsible for devising, writing, sourcing and flat planning content, editing copy, sub-editing and proofreading layouts, overseeing the day-to-day workflow of the magazine and assuming overall responsibility for the magazine and all associated projects in the Editor?s absence.
The Racecar Engineering website will also be managed by the Deputy Editor who will post regular content, write newsletters and update social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
The Deputy Editor is also responsible for assisting in the development and production of content for all brand extensions, including digimags, bookazines (single-issue premium magazines), supplements, apps, e-newsletters and digital editions, as well as maintaining the public and industry profile of the brand through social media, attending industry events and exhibitions and PR channels.
