The Junior may well have better workmanship and materials than some new passenger cars. It?s entirely handmade, Morgan says, and this mini-me version of the EV3 has a carbon-fiber body, a wood dash, and a hand-stitched black or tan leather interior. You can choose from Sport Red, Sport Green, or Sport Ivory paint?or choose a color from one of Morgan?s 40,000 color cards for a small extra fee?as well as available sticker packs.
The EV3 Junior will go about 10 miles on a charge, and it?ll reach 10 mph. A recharge will take about four hours.
And now for some sticker shock, perhaps: The EV3 Junior is priced from £6662.50, plus the U.K.?s hefty 20 percent value-added tax?or about $8300 for Americans, who don?t have to pay the VAT. It?s sold through official Morgan dealerships, from the Morgan website, and at the official factory shop in Malvern Link, England.
