The 2017 Honda Accord Sedan and Coupe arrive Monday (6-27-16), complete with a new Sport Special Edition. Honda dealerships nationwide are preparing for automaker’s flagship car to enter their showrooms. The new Accord features a multitude of trim packages, offers both 4-cylinder and V6 engines, and three transmissions: 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, and continuously variable (CVT).

The Honda Accord Sport Special Edition gives buyers a little extra, with heated, leather seats, red stitching, and unique badging. The Sport Special Edition is expected to boost Honda’s already strong presence in the segment.
“Accord continues to set the bar in its class with customers making it the top retail selling car in America for three years running,” said Jeff Conrad, Vice President, Honda Division. Solid Upgrades
The Accord was overhauled for 2016, with particular emphasis on the chassis and body. Honda developed a more rigid foundation for the Accord, incorporating their patented, next-generation Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE). The body structure, with its ability to effectively disperse frontal crash energy, has received the highest available safety ratings from the U.S. government ? a 5-Star Overall Vehicle Score from the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
