Rolls-Royce has made a generous donation to Saint Richard?s Hospital in its hometown of Chichester, England, and it?s not a big check. Instead, the company has created a car called the Rolls-Royce SRH specifically for the pediatric surgery unit so that patients can drive themselves to the operating room for surgery. As you?d expect, it?s significantly smaller than any other Rolls-Royce on the road.
Styled roughly after the Rolls-Royce Wraith coupe and finished in a two-tone Andalusian White and Salamanca Blue paint scheme, the SRH could also be considered the first ever all-electric Rolls-Royce. Its 24-volt gel battery gives the car a top speed of 10 mph, although it can be limited to 4 mph if desired. The brand?s classic Spirit of Ecstasy features prominently on the hood, and the interior is trimmed in red leather.
