The 2019 Ram 1500 has yet to go on sale, but Ram is already eager to show off the many Mopar parts and accessories it plans to offer on its new half-ton pickup.
This kayak-carrying, off-road-ready 2019 Ram 1500 4×4 crew cab is just one way Ram envisions consumers customizing their personal trucks. Starting life as a lower-level Big Horn model with the optional Sport package, this Ram has been decked out in accessories such as a 2.0-inch lift kit, a set of 18-inch wheels with red trim rings, chunky 35-inch tires, wheel-well flares, a pair of cast-aluminum running boards, front tow hooks, black hood stripes and emblems, and Mopar’s nifty new Ram Rack.

Inspired by the bed-mounted rack system in the 2016 Ram Macho Power Wagon concept, the Ram Rack is an adjustable rack that mounts to the truck’s bed utility rails. To help with loading and unloading items onto and off the rack, Ram added a hidden bed step that can be raised or lowered by the user with a simple push. To ensure that the big red Ram sounds as good as it looks, a Mopar cold-air intake and cat-back exhaust system with five-inch tailpipes have been fitted to the truck’s 5.7-liter V-8 engine. The exhaust does not alter the engine’s output, however; it’s unchanged at 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque.
