FCA Introduces Mopar Vehicle Protection Plans

Mopar Vehicle Protection, the service contract division of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles US LLC, recently launched new vehicle protection plans. Sometimes known as “extended service contracts,” vehicle protection plans are additional warranty options customers purchase with a new vehicle. Many times, the cost is included in the financing.
FCA is looking to provide customers hassle free maintenance and ownership. Â For example, The Mopar “Complete 360” plans feature either 5 years/60,000 miles or 6 years/75,000 miles of coverage.
“Our mission at Mopar is to offer our customers industry-leading solutions that add value and bring peace of mind to their lives,” said Pietro Gorlier, Head of Parts and Service (Mopar), FCA Global. Highlights include covering 5,000-plus components, scheduled and recommended maintenance including parts and services, coverage for all mechanical wear and tear items, such as wheel alignments, brakes (pads and rotors), shocks and struts, wiper blades, belts and hoses, clutch assembly, battery, bulbs, and fuses.
Gorlier belives it will be a game changer for FCA customers and their ownership experience.
“Mopar Vehicle Protection is the only service contract in the industry offering this degree of comprehensive vehicle protection, backed by trained and certified technicians and genuine Mopar parts,” he said.
