On September 19th 2020, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing will challenge for a third consecutive victory in the Le Mans 24 Hours as it targets a perfect final appearance at the Circuit de la Sarthe with its TS050 Hybrid, in the 88th edition of the legendary French race.
The 2020 Le Mans 24 hours represents the final chapter of the LMP1-H set of regulations which over the last eight years revolved around one principle – reducing the amount of fuel used in the race.

Engineers could choose any engine size or configuration, with any number of cylinders, spark ignition or compression ignition, naturally aspirated, turbocharged or supercharged and marry it with any type of energy recovery system with few restrictions. Race winners Sebastien Buemi (SUI) / Kazuki Nakajima (JPN) / Fernando Alonso (ESP) #08 Toyota Gazoo Racing Toyota TS050 Hybrid take the chequered flag at the end of the race.
