The original Honda to wear the Clarity badge was a fuel-cell-only vehicle with U.S. availability limited to hand-picked lessees in California. Now, some four years after discontinuing that FCX Clarity, Big H has launched a new version, and the name Clarity now describes a full line of electrified sedans. The fuel-cell version remains restricted to the SoCal set, but the 2018 Clarity Electric will also be available in Oregon, while the Clarity plug-in hybrid will be sold to Americans from sea to shining sea.
