Overview: There is only one Volkswagen model that the brand characterizes as a luxury vehicle: the Touareg. With a starting price of $50,405, this two-row SUV is by far VW?s most expensive product. The Touareg is an outlier in the marketplace as well, with a price, size, and badge that give it few direct competitors. The Jeep Grand Cherokee offers the most similar package, but it starts nearly $20,000 cheaper; so, too, does the more carlike Nissan Murano. Other vehicles in the Touareg?s price class include the Lincoln MKX and the Acura MDX.
