The pickup has been a stalwart in the mid-size truck category and Toyota completely redesigned the Tacoma for 2016. What?s NewÂ
The 2016 Toyota Tacoma boasts a new V6 engine, interior, and even more available off-road performance. Outside it gets fresh styling, a new cabin structure, a new transmission, retuned suspension, and improved noise insulation. Features & Options on TRD Sport
The TRD Sport model ($33,730) gets LED daytime running lights, unique exterior trim (including a hood scoop), 17-inch alloy wheels, sport-tuned shock absorbers, a bed-mounted 120-volt power outlet, keyless entry and ignition, a wireless phone charger, a leather-trimmed shift lever, special upholstery (shared with the TRD Off-Road), auto-dimming rearview mirror, and the SR5’s optional upgraded infotainment bundle.
This TRD Sport tester came with the optional V6 Tow Package ($650) that included a class IV towing receiver, ATF cooler, engine oil cooler, power steering cooler, 130amp alternator, 4 and 7 pin connector, and trailer sway control.
Total MSRP including destination: $35,280.
