2015 was a successful year for the auto industry, especially for trucks and SUVs. Lower gasoline prices combined with competitive interest rates helped drive auto sales overall in 2015. Factory rebates and incentives where higher when compared to 2014 as well. Perhaps not surprisingly, the Ford F-150 was the best selling vehicle of 2015 with the Chevy Silverado not far behind.
