The Mercedes-AMG E63 S Wagon's Drift Mode Is the Real Deal
Locked in rear-wheel-drive mode without the burden of stability control intervention, sliding the 603-hp Benz into big sweeping slides was almost too easy. Despite a setup that tends toward understeer if you enter a corner too quickly, the E63 stands ready to slide whenever you want it too. All you need is a flick to introduce some rear-end rotation or a stab of the throttle to send the rear end wide. Then, with 627 lb-ft of torque available from just 2500 rpm, you can balance the car with millimeter movements of your right foot.
