Omega and the famous Alinghi competitive sailing team have teamed up to launch the new Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon Alinghi watch. The base for this watch is the Speedmaster with the Calibre 1865 manual-winding movement. The design of this watch was inspired by Alinghi’s new TF35 catamaran. This includes the carbon fiber design that’s similar to the catamaran’s carbon hull. Omega also went with a black and red color scheme that mirrors the Alinghi logo, which can actualyl be found on the dial. When the chronograph function is used, this logo actually rotates. This watch comes with a perforated black and red rubber strap.
