Fiat is refreshing its Fiorino small van, with a series of styling and mechanical improvements.
The new Fiorino will open for ordering in mid April 2016, Fiat hoping to build on the 370,000 examples sold so far.
Built in a joint programme with PSA Group, which markets its own versions of the van under the Citroën Nemo and Peugeot Bipper badges, the latest Fiorino gains a new exterior look brining it into line with other recent releases from the Fiat Professional LCV division.
The front bumper is restyled but retains the high-mounted headlamps that Fiat says both improve visibility and are less likely to be damaged by parking errors.
New covers for the 15-inch diamond-finish burnished alloy wheels also add to the visual changes.
Inside the cabin the steering wheel is redesigned and can be specified with remote audio controls and leather trim, the latter replicated on the gear knob and boot. The instrument cluster graphics are changed and permanent backlighting added for better visibility, while the dash also gains a storage compartment. Available for the first time in the Fiorino is a new, five-inch, colour touchscreen infotainment system, with Bluetooth, a USB/AUX port, satellite navigation and DAB radio.
Two 1.3-litre turbodiesel Multijet engines of 80 and 95hp are available alongside a 1.4-litre petrol unit, and for the first time one of the diesels is offered in EcoJet form, boasting several efficiency measures including start-stop technology.
