Tomek Makolski is a photographer with an affinity for automobiles. Being a track day driver and automotive enthusiast, he truly appreciates automotive photography. But Porsche’s newsroom has just unveiled a set of automotive photographs by Makolski that are not exactly what you’d expect. After Porsche and LEGO released the new 911 RSR Technic set, Makolski came up with a brilliant idea. He booked a flight to Dubai and captured shots of areas where he would expect a real 911 RSR to be racing through. He then went to his studio in Warsaw and captured photographs of the LEGO 911 RSR with lightning that would match up with the light of the location shots. Then, in post, he edited the LEGO Porsche into the sceneries for a truly magnificent result. You can check them out in the gallery below.
