Geneva ? the weird and the wonderful
For our final report from the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, we look at some of the exotic sports cars and outrageous concepts that the show is famous for…
Pagani’s Zonda is regarded as an iconic machine both among sports car enthusiasts and players of driving computer games. Just 20 examples of the Huara BC will be made, its 6-litre twin-turbo V12 engine uprated to ‘somewhere above 800bhp’.
Many may believe the new Bugatti Chiron to be the most expensive car at the Geneva show, but it’s more likely to be this. And it costs more than £2 million… This, meanwhile, is with little doubt the most powerful car in Geneva, and it’s British! The Arash AF10 is the 2016 version of a car originally launched in 2008, and matches a V8 petrol engine of up to 900bhp with four electric motors for a claimed total output of 2080bhp… Not surprisingly it dispatches the 0-62mph sprint in only 2.8 seconds and goes on past 200mph. No price is available yet but it is expected to be around £1 million.
