Bowmore has been making world-renowned whiskey for over 240 years. But in 1964 they were forced to replace their ancient boiler with a modern one. Another momentus event happened that year, the Aston Martin DB5 was driven by Agent 007 in Goldfinger. As the master coachbuilders assembled each example by hand, the new upgraded distillery began brewing “Black Bowmore”. It has been described as a rich and decadent single malt.

Only 25 bottles will be offered, each made by hand. The wood presentation box is also handmade, with calfskin leather and nickel-plated brass hardware.
