Now that the Taycan has been on the road for a year, it will receive some nice upgrades in October. That is because the 2021 Porsche Taycan Turbo S is faster and smarter. Acceleration has improved in Launch Mode, it covers the quarter-mile in 10.7 seconds, one tenth faster. It also reaches 124 mph in 9.6 seconds, two tenths faster.

Other improvements include an optional color HUD, and the onboard AC charging capacity has been doubled from 11 to 22 kilowatts. Porsche’s Electrify America charging stations offer Plug & Charge capability. This allows the 2021 Taycan to send an encrypted signal to begin charging once plugged in, and it handles payment for you. The biggest change is that all 2021 Taycan Turbo S will be built fully loaded, and many features are only available on a monthly subscription or one-time fee.
They include Lane Keeping Assist, InnoDrive, Range Monitor, and Power Steering Plus.
