Toyota prices up Proace and Hilux
Toyota has released prices for its new Proace panel van  and Hilux pick-up range.
The Proace was unveiled earlier this week at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham, at the same time as the Citroën Dispatch and Peugeot Expert ? the three vans are built together in a joint programme between PSA and Toyota and are mechanically similar.
Panel van versions of the new Proace are being offered in three body lengths including the new Compact range, with three diesel engines ? 1.6 units of 94 and 113bhp and a 118bhp 2.0, five or six-speed manual transmissions and two trim levels, Base of Comfort.
The Base models include central remote locking with deadlocks, cruise control with speed limiter, fabric seat upholstery, driver and front passenger airbags, power windows and door mirrors, an audio system with radio, DAB, USB port and Bluetooth and a tyre pressure monitor. Comfort grade adds cabin acoustic improvements, driver?s seat height adjustment, combination cloth and vinyl upholstery, air conditioning, a cooled and illuminated glovebox, additional 12V power outlets in the glovebox and cargo area, a Smart Cargo system, body colour-matched bumpers and door mirrors, front fog lamps, full wheel covers and a dashboard information display.
Prices for the new Proace start at £18,660 (CV on the road without VAT), which buys the Compact in Base trim with the 1.6 94bhp engine and five-speed gearbox.
