Maserati puts £54.3K price on Levante SUV
Maserati Levante prices will start from £54,335 when the new SUV goes on sale in June 2016.
The car, Maserati?s first SUV, has been unveiled at a special event attended by several celebrities at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London.
The Levante?s creators describe it as ?the Maserati of SUVs? and say that it will complement the existing Quattroporte, Ghibli, GranTurismo and GranCabrio models to give the brand representation across the luxury market.
Powered by a 3-litre V6 turbodiesel engine, the Levante is promised to offer the lowest centre of gravity in its market, combined with active air suspension as standard with five ride height options, to provide both performance and ride comfort.
Entry-level models will be able to be upgraded with either a Luxury or Sport pack for an extra £5950, while there will also be a Luxury Pack Zegna Edition at £61,185, which will include bespoke Zegna Mulberry Silk inside the car. According to Maserati Europe general manager Giulio Pastore, who unveiled the Levante in London, the launch of the car marks a truly significant moment for Maserati in the UK.
?With strong demand for luxury SUVs, we are now able to appeal to an even wider audience,? Pastore says.
?The best thing about Levante is that it?s a true and pure Maserati that has perfect on-road and off-road capabilities, offering owners the ultimate in terms of elegance, practicality and comfort of a luxury SUV yet retaining the marque?s performance DNA,? he adds.
